The Gallery

The renovation of this three-story home in German Village came about because of a full house fire. All photos courtesy of Robb McCormick.

The original kitchen had a good footprint but was segmented by a wall separating it from the living room and a large cased opening that separated it from a small eat-in dining area. By opening up both of these walls (and adding a large steel beam) we were able to let the kitchen fully shine in the space.

The kitchen is the heart of this first-floor renovation. The previous floor plan was very segmented, with walls separating rooms into small and dark spaces.

Creating an open concept with the living room was the main goal of this kitchen renovation.

A totally new layout makes the most use out of the space and creates multiple well-defined areas.

The custom cabinetry is the star of this kitchen – in form and function!
