Careful and detailed design of this kitchen packed a lot of function and beauty into a small space. Adding a focal cabinetry piece with glass doors helps to define separate countertop areas to the left and right of it, making the space feel larger. Multiple levels of lighting – from recessed lighting at the ceiling, decorative pendants, and under-cabinet lighting – create a depth to the design, keep the small space bright, and highlight all of the details. Decorative toekicks, applied moldings, and custom door and drawer fronts make the cabinetry feel like furniture.  A custom bench was built to fill the space under the window. Lights were added to make the nook feel purposeful.
