OUR PROCESS

Consultation

Members of our interior design and estimating team will meet with you at your home to take detailed measurements and photos of your space. We will discuss your needs and wishes for your project.

Design Review

A member of our interior design team will contact you when a design concept is available to review. We typically meet at our office, where our interior design team can walk you through the proposed renovation and make changes on the spot!

Quote Review

We meet at our office to review your designs and the scope of work in detail. You’ll go home with a copy of the in-depth quote. Our quotes are design-specific, so we review them in person with the aid of the proposed design plans.

Selections

Once we are in contract on your renovations, we will schedule a personalized shopping trip with our interior design team to view and make all material selections. We will get to work on permits and other preliminary items behind the scenes.

Production

After all selections have been finalized, we will begin to schedule work onsite. Our interior design and estimating teams stay engaged with you throughout your project and a project manager will be assigned who will coordinate every detail from demo to punch.

FAQ

How do I get started with my project?

Fill out our contact form or give us a call at 614-939-5260. You can give us a little bit of information about yourself and what project you have in mind.

I’ve heard that renovations can have some surprise costs and/or change orders. What should I plan for?

Change orders are usually for changes in scope that are primarily customer driven. Unexpected changes in cost are primarily due to the discovery of hidden mechanical items (such as wires or HVAC venting uncovered behind drywall during demolition work) and/or found conditions that are non-code compliant and/or in need of repair.

What type of warranty do you offer?

We offer a 1-year warranty on craftsmanship and honor all manufacturer warranties on materials purchased through Hale Construction from our approved vendors.

Who are your vendors/suppliers?

We use many local suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and fixtures. Konkus is our main countertop supplier and fabricator, tile is supplied by Hamilton Parker, and fixtures are typically sourced through Ferguson or Northern Lighting.
